This is a championship 9 foot table, solid construction, with rare 1.5 inch heavy three piece slate with six legs, new felt, leather pockets, and rolls true. Built around 1890, it’s truly an extremely rare find. The cushions were manufactured by Texas Fixture Company, hence the label. An expert in Dallas suggests the table is likely an A E Schmidt or Steepleton, possibly Kansas City Billiards. The table is a beautiful show piece and conversation , but most of all, a pool table with a solid playing surface that can withstand any amount of English you can create with your game.
