Brunswick GOLD CROWN I 41/2 x 9 Completely Restored UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS

Here is a beautiful Gold Crown I 4 1/2 x 9 from around 1960. This is a turn key deal. Includes leather like table cover, a set of centennial balls, two Brunswick cues from the same era, a bridge, a custom made wooden rack (triangle) and chalk. The Restoration–I did the restoration myself about 5 years ago and it was a labor of love. The table has been under a cover in my house ever since, very little play. The orange paint took about 10 coats to get the smooth and deep finish I was looking for. Admittedly, the orange color is a true orange, UT colors, originally was a drabber orange, which honestly I didn’t care for. Every piece of exposed metal on the table (corners, ball rack, counters, etc) has been professionally chromed. Pockets are very tight. They were tightened up by adding hardwood to the length of the rails, not rubber shims. Rubber cushions were replaced. Table comes with the super fast Simonis 860 felt which is on it. Table looks new and is the best playing table you will ever see. Slates are in perfect condition. Pockets were replaced with the new Brunswick larger capacity pockets which originated on the Gold Crown IV. The one thing that was really important was the formica on the rails was already in excellent condition. I put University of Texas in the listing, as some alumni could have the man cave table of his dreams. The table is already the right colors. Any design of longhorns and lettering can be cut out of vinyl by a sign place I use and put on the skirts. Then I would put several coats of polyurethane over them. I would be more than happy to do this for free, you pay for the vinyl, which won’t be that much. Imagine TEXAS on the side with longhorns at each end. Nobody will set up this table better than I will. You are welcome to come by and see it while it is still set up.
