Rare 1945 Brunswick Centennial Pool Table. Originally set up and owned by a New York City Italian Mens Club. Donald Deskey, in his diverse career, designed famous projects such as The Radio City Music Hall, Tide Soap Logo, Crest tooth paste Logo, etc. In the 1940’s the Brunswick Company commissioned him to design this table celebrating the 100th year anniversary of the company’s founding. This table was produced in 1945, Brunswick’s 100th year, and is named “The Centennial”. Solid Rosewood Rails and Trim of Extruded Aluminum. Trim has been high polished and automobile clear coated. Corner Castings have Chromed. Original hard rubber pockets have replaced with custom fitted leather. The felt is Simonis Light Tan and the color can be changed to any liking. The history of its New York Italian heritage makes it very unique. This Art Deco Table is one of the most sought after pool tables by collectors world wide. All parts have the original matching serial numbers stamped on them. Brunswick is currently the oldest corporation in the United States and continues to manufacture the most desirable pool tables in the world, but not these former limited production models.
