Brunswick Balke Collender Co. Brilliant Novelty Antique Billiard Table (1880’s)
This is a 9 foot Rosewood inlaid table by Brunswick called, The Brilliant Novelty. Needs a lot of work but a couple of high points: The rails are almost perfect. Very little needed to get the rails where you need them. The legs need to be completely re-veneered but they are nut cut off on the bottom like these old tables usually are. Sides and end panels pretty much intact. No skirts but I can put you in touch with a woodworker who has the pattern and can make skirts if you want them. Starting to liquidate projects that I won’t live long enough to get at so here is a chance to get one of the most beautiful tables ever produced by Brunswick. You will have to come and get it and no hurry. I could possibly deliver it on an upcoming trip depending on where you live. Yes, I have a set of 4 piece 1 inch slates for it.
