1880’s BRUNSWICK ANTIQUE POOL TABLE. The table is made of Walnut Burl with Birdseye Maple and Rosewood Inlays. The legs are Walnut Burl as well with the same inlay on one part of the leg. It is very unusual for an entire table to be made out of mainly Walnut Burl. Usually Walnut Burl is only on plagues to dress up the table. The rails have the Walnut Burl on the side and once had Rosewood veneer on the top. I started some work on the table and finished up most of the sides and started taking some of the veneer of one leg. The legs and rails should be totally veneered but that’s just my opinion. All the veneer on the rails are loose. The table comes with slates and hardware except for irons and iron bolts. Have too many tables that need veneer work and decided to sell some of my inventory.
