Billiards Tables

Up for sale is an antique bar billiards table. He decided to write a letter to the National Museum of American History of the Smithsonian Institution to see if they could identify it. They sent the letter pictured above indicating they had no idea what kind of table it was. Later, he wrote a letter and sent pictures to Pool and Billiards Magazine asking them for help. They published an article on it (pictured above) and incorrectly identified it as a Bagatelle table. Finally, a gentleman from Spain who had read the article in P&B sent a letter identifying it as a Bar Billiards table. The table is in good physical condition overall. However, the top will require new felt. Please note: I do not have the balls or cues for this table, but both are easily obtainable online. I also do not know if it functions as it should–i. If the ball return, Pence coin insert, etc. There is a handle that pulls out on the end opposite the score board. When pulled, it makes a ticking noise, much like an oven timer.
