A reproduction Brunswick Monarch cue rack, It holds 12 Cues. While I was restoring an original antique Brunswick Monarch cue rack, I had a request to make a reproduction for another client. I made this one at the same time for my own collection. It is made of poplar wood with a faux finish to look like mahogany wood, The same technique used to make the originals. This rack has the same dimensions and turnings as the original. It is in New, unused condition. Cues shown in the picture are Not included. THIS TABLE HAS ALL OF THE SAME WOOD INLAYS OF ROSE WOOD, ASH BURL, MAHOGANY & MAPLE. THE RAIL TOPS ARE MADE FROM ROSEWOOD. THE PLAYING SURFACE IS 101″ BY 51″. THIS TABLE WAS MADE WITH THE FINEST QUALITY AND HAS A THICK ITALIAN SLATE SURFACE AND TOURNAMENT GRADE CLOTH SURFACE AND SUPERSPEED CUSHIONS. THERE IS A COUPLE OF AREAS WHERE THE VENEER IS LIFTING FROM AGE BUT THAT CAN BE REPAIRED. THIS TABLE WAS CUSTOM MADE BY A & A BILLIARDS OF POMONA CALIFORNIA. I HAVE OWNED IT FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND IT IS STILL IN EXCELLENT PLAYING CONDITION. ITS TIME TO LET SOMEONE ELSE ENJOY THIS MASTERPIECE. The pool table and the Foundry Pattern to reproduce the Lion’s Head Legs. The way it works is you take the pattern to a foundry that can pour the metal that you want them made out of. They will take it from there. The pool table in this listing, the Lion’s Head Legs are made of Brass. Very expensive to do it this way. To make them out of Aluminum and paint them would be a lot less. And easier to find an Aluminum Foundry too. About the table- It is made of solid Honduras Mahogany wood with a Lacquer finish, no stain or veneer, just solid mahogany about 2 thick for the base and the rails are old style T-rails with old style pockets by RC Designs. The slate is 3 piece, 1 thick, wood backed boarder, it is used but useable, had to be modified from new style to old style. This is a 9ft. Table = 50″x 100″. The felt on the slate is like new, but on the rails are showing some age from storage see pic. And a hardly noticeable scratch on a rail top see pic.
