Antique Pool Table (9 foot, Schwikert & Sons, 1890s, with original accessories). This table was originally installed (likely in the last decade of the 1800s) at a resort in Sodus Point, NY. Since then, it has been exceptionally maintained. The table has a slate surface in 3 pieces. Considering the time since it was refelted, the felt is in excellent condition (suggesting the table was treated very well), but the felt does need to be replaced after about 35 years of use. The rails are lively and the table surface is remarkably true. The thick leather net drop pockets are still in great condition. The table has original hooks for a bridge on each side of the table and it has original small iron chalk holders mounted under the head and foot rails (see photo). Accessories include: original wall rack for cues, original ball rack, original scoring beads, 2 original ceiling-mounted retractable chalk holders, 2 original bridges, old (maybe original) pill bottle, newer 8-ball rack, newer 9-ball rack, set of older 1 & 2-piece cues, newer felt brush and 2 sets of balls (1 very old).
