This is an 1893 inlaid (marquetry) billiard table made for – and awarded as – a championship trophy – by the BENEDICT BILLIARD TABLE CO. It is dated under the felt. These were called the “EMBLEM” of the tournament, and were typically passed along from one winner to the next.
