This was a functioning table which i had professionally dis-assembled and moved and it is still in parts as shown. The felt was removed for moving and dis-assembly purposes. I believe this falls into the 10 x 5 foot table category. Not sure exactly which measurements are critical to you but the bed of the table, without the rails / bumpers on it measure 114 1/2″ x 58 1/4″ wide. There is a brass placard one one of the rails which reads a. I have had the table for about 3 years with intent of refinishing it but have finally decided i may never get to it so time to free up some space and get it in the hands of someone who can use it. I had contacted a. Schmidt back when i first brought it home and one of their people told me it was a brunswick made table, circa 1920’s (1923 – 1925 according to a helpful fellow ebayer) and is the the arcadian model. He speculated it had the schmidt plackard as a previous owner may have sent it to them for repair or they may have acquired it themselves and worked on it for resale. Anyway, it apparently was not un-customary to switch out a brunswick plackard for a schmidt plackard. The table has 3 sections of slate which measure 60″ wide and 1 1/2″ thick. All 3 slates in good condition with no cracks. Each is very heavy – i might estimate each at 250-300 pounds or even more. Each slate has “24 d” hand engraved into the bottom side of the slate. I have photos showing both sides of all 3 sections of slate so you can see good condition. The table came with a ball return system made up of pvc pipes which was functional but i removed as my intent was to switch to the netted pockets. I have still all 6 of the pockets which are leather and brass which would need to be repaired or replaced – or just go with the netted pockets. All hardware screws, bolts, etc. That came with the table, and was removed for the move, is included so the table can be put back in use. Stencil painted on the table is “g1099″ and “head”. I could not determine what this was for but if anyone knows and will let me know i will add it to the listing. The veneer is loose / chipped in some areas but not affecting your ability to set this up and play on it. The hook for hanging the ball rack is still in place and there is a ball return platform at one end. Not sure if it is original to the table and has a few dings and repairs but functional. I have set the rail / bumpers on top of the table for the photo, not bolted into normal position, so you can see them. The movers wrote the rail / bumper numbers 1-6 on both the rail / bumper and corresponding place on the table so you can put them back on the table as they came off of it. Previous owner had used it as a pool table as i also got the pool balls, rack and cues though all were very old in fairly bad condition so not listed here. There is some decorative inlay items including mother of pearl (mop) and a white material celluloid ? Some of the inlay pieces are cracked and / or missing. As it is very heavy, you will need a good sized trailer and a crew of guys to pick it up. It is in my garage so do not have a loading ramp but can be picked up off the driveway. Photos show condition so please view them and ask questions! Y one in every way. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments! Completed to your satisfaction and i have recieved your positive feedback. Listing / item description.
