Brunswick Billiards Monarch Reproduction with Foundry Pattern- (Tooling) to make more. What is listed here is not just the pool table. The pool table and the Foundry Pattern to reproduce the Lion’s Head Legs. The way it works is you take the pattern to a foundry that can pour the metal that you want them made out of. They will take it from there. The pool table in this listing, the Lion’s Head Legs are made of Brass. Very expensive to do it this way. To make them out of Aluminum and paint them would be a lot less. And easier to find an Aluminum Foundry too. About the table- It is made of solid Honduras Mahogany wood with a Lacquer finish, no stain or veneer, just solid mahogany about 2 thick for the base and the rails are old style T-rails with old style pockets by RC Designs. The slate is 3 piece, 1 thick, wood backed boarder, it is used but useable, had to be modified from new style to old style. This is a 9ft. Table = 50″x 100″. The felt on the slate is like new, but on the rails are showing some age from storage see pic. And a hardly noticeable scratch on a rail top see pic. What’s included : Pool table with Brass Lion head Legs. Honduras Mahogany top part, slate, pockets Foundry Pattern, Core Boxes, center section Patterns (3 pieces), some samples and jigs, drawings for making the wood part of the table. There is no balls or cues. As far as pool tables go the Monarch is visually something to look at. The one’s that are original will be considered more valuable because of their antique value, but in my opinion a reproduction like this will have top of the line pool table value. I got into this about 20 years ago, long story short, Family friend had an original Monarch and let me use it to develop tooling to reproduce the Lion’s head legs. I had the pattern’s made, then used them to make a set out of Brass, The original Monarch’s were made of cast iron, Then reproduced the top part and that’s as far as I got. For a pool table Mfg. Company that would like an easy way to add the Monarch to their line up, this would save a lot of time and headaches. I will get it crated up for safe transport. I will need about 10 days to make the crates, I would have to disassemble and make crates as needed. I will leave as is until it sells for inspection. Again, Thanks for your interest. Also I added a photo of a outdoor table I made for myself, this table is not included in this listing, I put it in to show what else can be made with the patterns.
