Family heirloom table, inherited from my uncle and its been in our possession for about 25 years. Has been played on maybe 100 times in that period. Was re-felted about 15 years ago so. The felt is in very good condition. Small slight discoloration on felt that isn’t very noticeable (see pic). Has a few minor cosmetic flaws. A few of the legs have some scratching (see pics). Wood chip missing from side of the table as well as ball return, small each about 2 inches (see pics). Felt coming away from wood on sides of ball return, somewhat, does not affect the ball return feature (see pics). Slight discoloration on felt that is hardly noticeable, more noticeable in pic than in real life (see pics). Leather on outside of pockets is original so it is worn on most pockets, although its just cosmetic leather and the inside of the pockets is a hard material that works fine. Never had an issue with the pockets or ball return. Tassels that cover the leather are in very good condition and leather is not shown with the tassles over them. With its few flaws, it’s still a great looking table. Works very well with ball return – we have never had an issue with a stuck ball. Comes with a full set of balls, triangles, cues (including a vintage Dufferin 20 oz), and anything else you see on the rack, including the rack too. The ball return makes this table unique and worth more, but we need the room! So our loss is your gain. I have 60 pics of this table total, ask me for google link if you’re interested in more pics, can only upload 24 here. Happy to take additional pic of anything specific if you want, too! I talked to the owner, Rick, and his company is fully insured, they’ve been disassembling, moving, and re-assembling pool tables for 30 years. Located in Moorpark, CA, not far outside Los Angeles. Happy to take additional pictures or answer any other questions as best I can.
Antique Brunswick Pool Table. Came out of a Billiards Hall in Peebles Ohio. Current owner is in his 90’s and played on the table back in the 1940’s. He said it was made around 1900. Dimensions from end to end are 8′ 4 3/8″ x 54 3/8″. Table was recovered years ago and rarely played. It’s 3 piece slate with leather pockets.
In 1995 Brunswick Billiards celebrated their 150th Anniversary with two very special pool tables. One of these was an antique Jewel table they had restored and presented to Camp David and eventually the White House! There were very few of these tables produced, so it is a great table for someone who wants a unique showstopper. Here are some pictures showing the beautiful and intricate woodwork that went into this amazing tableWhile you may not be able to own the Jewel that has graced both Camp David and the White House, you can own The Jewel, a unique table with a rich history and a great story! The table is #073 out of the 150 Brunswick produced in 1995, it does not have a felt, has very minor wear for being 28 years old, the 3 piece slate is in excellent condition. Item is located in Atlanta GA.
