The exquisite ” New Acme ” by Brunswick & Balke company. The circa 1878 Acme model was first manufactured with four, rounded legs. Heavily inlaid in Egyptian style with several exotic wood inlays including incredible Birdseye maple, Rosewood, Ebony & Mahogany inlaid into Ash Burl. The Rosewood top rails are in fantastic condition with antique iron style leather drop pockets. The aprons have amazingly elaborate with carved maple leavs. 3 pieces of hard wood backed original Vermont slate and brand new cushions make this 4.5 x 9 table a real joy to play on.
