I will have more pics in a few days but putting some early thumbnails out for consideration. Just had this table consigned to me for resale and boy is it a beauty. Longtime executive moving to smaller home and no room for this classic Brunswick’Pfister’ model from the 1890’s. This is a full size 9 footer in African ribbon mahogany and finished in a gloss lacquer by well known restoration company a few years ago. Hardly used over the past 10 years and needs nothing but a new home that will appreciate a table of this quality. Carved florals at the feet of each leg and sweeping lines from the floor all the way to the rails in an engineering and design masterpiece. This body style was used in two other classic Brunswick models and remained popular for 30 years in the early 20th century. The finest homes of the day were host to tables of this vintage and quality. Now it will reside in a modern home styled for the era and this table will fit any type of decor. 1 inch slate in three pieces. Some of these models were 6 legged versions with 1 1/2 thick slate. Thankfully, this is the 4 legged version. I will deliver this table anywhere in the USA or have it delivered by professional billiard mechanic for proper installation. Rail tops are Brazilian rosewood with real 1800’s ivory railsights. Slates are like new. Very heavy base and cabinet. This is a great design and a marvel in engineering when you consider it was made before the invention of the electric light bulb or the automobile. This table can be delivered within 2 weeks because it needs nothing except a little freshening.
