Antique BRUNSWICK “Southern” Billiards Pool Table. Circa 1912 model “Southern” Excellent Condition Tournament/ Regulation Size/ English Standard Exquisite Quarter-Sawn White Oak, Burled Walnut Rails, and Diamond design Mother of Pearl Inlays. 2 Thick Slate Top. Special Feature: This table has an Original Full Ball Return System. This feature saves a lot of unnecessary wear and tear on the slate and felt covering when removing the balls from the pockets before racking. Helps keep the wear of the felt much more uniform for more accurate play and better overall appearance. This table was set up by pool champion and pool table restorer Herby Lehman. Herby did the complete table assembly, slate installation, installed new rail bumpers, new cloth on rails and table, relined pockets and tray, acute leveling, and full table steel ball bearing test-very impressive experience. As a finale, Herby puts on a shooting demonstration depicting the tournament winning shots of many of the famous pool champs over the years, of which he is one. Another nice feature is the antique cast iron Retractable Chalk Holders located under the rails. Both convenient and help keep the chalk and chalk stains off the felt. As you can see in the photos, the needs of our workshop has outgrown our available space. It is now time to pass this wonderful antique table onto the next proud owner. We have enjoyed having it for over 30 years. These nicely crafted antique tables were designed to easily assemble and easily dismantle. So moving and getting into a home or business is very easy. Last I knew, Herby still provides this service upon request.
