One of the most popular production tables ever made in the Victorian era of the late 1800’s, the Union League is a beautiful, carved, quarter sawn oak model that was copied by many other pool table companies of the time because of it’s unique and handsome style. Table has been completely restored and is ready for a new home. The finished photos I’m showing are borrowed from a friend in the business. The actual table is shown in’before’ pics when the table was unassembled. Same table model but different stages of restoration. It is a 9 footer with 4 piece slate and all the parts are 100% original. Rails have ivory diamonds and they are original. Pockets are re-leathered over original irons. Very hard to find this model anymore but this one came from the Milwaukee area about a year ago and it is ready for installation anywhere in the USA. This table ranks right near the top of all the Brunswick models ever made insofar as quality and desirability goes. Interior designers love this model because it can’fit. Had cloth changed from burgundy shown in photos to wine color, but can change if desired. Appraised value in general area of 30k. This gorgeous table’s home is for sale; downsizing and sadly have to give this up. Just like a puppy, it’s searching for a new home with people who will appreciate, enjoy and treat it right. The leather pockets have been replaced and it was recovered in 2005. All is in excellent condition! The cushions have also been replaced. The wood is all original and feature ivory diamond shape inlays. The top area has been refinished but the legs are all in original condition. In addition to the table, you will also receive this fantastic cue holder and 11 sticks. The cue holder is an antique but we do not know the age. The sticks vary in age and condition. A few need new tips. You will also receive the dust cover and counting rack. I suggest you look into USHIP for quotes. This piece is priced to sell. Research reveals this could certainly sell for much more! This pool table is being stored where it has access to a small tractor with a bucket and could assist with if needed but really two people can handle the slates and it is in 4 separate pieces and all wooden parts are not that heavy. Up for your consideration is a base to a vintage pool table I believe is late 1800’s. The bottomis stamped with the number 18142. Please keep in mind this piece does have some ruff spots so view photos and ask questions as needed. I will do my best to point out items. Overall length is 7 feet 8 inches. Stands 31 1/2 inches high. Deco sides are 11 inches. The legs are 19 1/4 inches tall. The table is missing some of the trim. The narrow end is missing one upright piece of trim. The longside with center is missing 3 upright trim pieces. One long side is missing the center raised trim deco piece and 4 pieces of trim. I metal hook on underside is broke. Also, legs have peeling veneer. For the most part the inlay trim is very good condition. I think it could be great piece to repurpose into a kitchen island by just adding a layer of drawers to the top and a piece of granite…… Or maybe a bed frame for a pool enthusiast.
